Decluttering & Organizing FAQs

It’s simple - Save Time. Peace of Mind. Save Money. 


You definitely need to declutter & organize before cleaning. It can be difficult to clean with things covered and taking up space. We will clear out the clutter first, work on organizing, and then cleaning if cleaning services were purchased as well. Depending on the size of the project, these can be completed on the same visit.  


  1. We will have a complementary phone conversation to discuss your needs. 
  2. We will then complete a complementary In-Person or Virtual consultation. This takes 45-60 minutes. During our time together we will assess your needs, what systems will work best for you, and come up with a plan of action. 
  3. We will send you an estimate with a plan of action and provide product suggestions to accomplish your goals. We will also provide product suggestions for you so you don’t waste time buying things that wont work. 


We will have a team of 1 or 2 specialists come to complete the project. We follow a simple process of (1) sorting, (2) purging, and (3) organizing. 


First, we walk you through the changes and ensure you are comfortable with your space. Then, we discuss suggestions to help you keep the space organized. We also offer refresh sessions for those who need help keeping the home organized. This could be due to busy lives, kids, life changes, and other things that will affect how often that is needed. 


Yes, of course! You should expect judgment-free, discreet, and professional service from our team. 


Our main goal is to create a positive experience while helping you get organized. Plain & simple!

Most importantly, we’re here to not only work, but also guide and encourage you through this process. 

In the long run, our hope is that while you remove the extras in your home and organize the important things, you will also eliminate undue stress. 


You decide. We offer three levels. 

  1. Let’s do it together: This is when we work together on the project. 
  2. Keep me informed: This is for those who want to be involved with the project at the beginning, however we do all the work. 
  3. You’ve got this: This is for those who don’t want to be part of the project. They want it completed and we’re there to handle it for them. 


We work a minimum of 3 hours up to 7 hours in one session/day. How much time is needed depends on how big of a space we’re organizing, how cluttered that space is, and how quickly decisions are made. Each client and their space is different. Just know we work efficiently, and if we ever complete a job in less hours than planned, we only charge for the time we are there. 


Well, that depends on what your clutter is made up of. Starting by getting rid of unused, broken, or duplicated things is always a good place to start. Decluttering paper or old clothes is key for it takes up a ton of space.


Depending on the specs of your individual plan we will provide “homework” for you to complete prior to our visit. 


That is up to you. We normally recommend items to help with your project to help keep your home organized. We believe finding a “home” for things is important so things don’t get disorganized after we leave. We normally send an Amazon link of items we recommend and possibly Target and/or Home Depot as well. Making the purchase process easy for you. 


Yes, we will be happy to give suggestions based on your style and even shop for you. You can use our suggestions, shop them yourself or we can do it all for you. It is totally up to you. 

  • There is a fee for shopping for decor/organizing items. See our pricing list for details.
  • On average this only takes 30-60 minutes


If it is a manageable pile, we will haul it away to a donation site for free. If there are multiple trips we do charge a small fee. See our pricing list for details.


If you wish to sell some of your items, them  you can list your items online, have a garage/estate sale, or take them to a consignment shop; however, reselling is not part of our services. On the other hand, if you like to donate items in a good condition to a local site, it will possibly be used by an individual or a family in need, and that’s always a win-win for everyone.
